[OPEN] Doctor and patient stuck in office

This might be related to two bugs already reported.

Description:

• Doctor Karen Clark and patient Rachel Lee seems to be stuck in an office.
  
• Patient has an active examination (urine analysis) blinking, and the doctor was labeled "performing a procedure".
  
• Tried to save, exit and load the game
  
• Tried to change departments for the patient
  
• Tried to change doctors for the patient
  
• Waited for clinic hours to end
  
• Tried to send the patient home
  
• Tried to fire the doctor
  

Patient thought bubble switches between unhappy and needy I guess:




Further information:
I only have autosaves from every 12 hours, so the first one I found from before this happened is D07_H08 (attached).
Patient Rachel Lee arrives at the General Surgery clinic around 12:30, and while she meets with another doctor (David Adams) she gets stuck again!.

Hello, I have a similar problem. Patients and doctors are stuck in their activities and are constantly repeating them. I attach a video, note the people on the toilet and patients and issue a serial ticket.

Quick solution, so you can go on with the game. Switch the department on the patient card. When it moves change it back to the right department. Doesn't solve the bug, but most of the time you get the patient and doctor unstuck.

Blue_bug: I tested that for my Rachel earlier and it didn't work for her atleast.

BUT!
I went back to my autosave, sent Rachel home before she got stuck and went on with my day.
A bit later on I get another pair of patient/doctor stuck, same symbols over her head...

Turns out I forgot to put toilets in the restrooms when I copied the walls and tiles from the floor below. It's not easy to see the "missing equipment" warning for the room with walls/doors up:


To summarize, I guess my issues could be sorted out by:

• Making it easier to see that a room isn't functioning
  
• Giving players a better way to understand why procedures are waiting or why they can't be performed (the tooltips on the patient charts give some insights, but perhaps the dependency tree could be utilized better for this)
  
• (I'm guessing here) Making sure that the urine analysis procedure requires a functioning restroom and not just a lab
  
• Sorting out the order of "waiting for procedure", "sent home", "fired" and so on

Hi, this kind of behavior always always means there's some problem with pathfinding - would be great if you could attach your saved game so we can have a look, also look for inaccessible rooms or elevators and missing doors somewhere in the hospital.

I have also experienced this bug. nothing worked aside from going back a few auto saves.

Hi, do you think you can still find a save in the stuck state? These can really help, as the issues are usually slightly different in each report.

I tried to adjust the rooms and the door after your advice, and it has not yet been resolved. Even reloading of the saved position does not help, and the error is resumed again.

Zkusil jsem po vaší radě upravit místnosti WC a dveře a zatím se to nevyřešilo. Nepomůže ani opětovné načtení uložené pozice, pochvilce se chyba oběví znovu.

Hi, one more thing I've spotted (and a situation that we should prevent or give a proper warning about) is that there's an On-call room from general surgery overlapping an elevator and as a result it's blocking it for patients.
Fixing this can help as well.
