(DLC) Some new departments.

Hi, and great work with Project Hospital.
I see very interesting path to (far) future DLCs as:
-Maternity departments with Maternity wards provide antenatal care, care during childbirth and postnatal support.
-Neonatal unit to care newborn babies.
-Elderly services department to care the endless patients (and death?) and Obstetrics and gynaecology units.
-Nutrition and dietetics department.
-Physiotherapy department with specialist on rehabilitation.
Some of them has "connected" with some final treatments actual in the game, and can be very interesting situations as a patient send to rehabilitation need return some days to treatment a pathology.

I could also imagine a new psychiatry department.
Concerning the other "somatic" departments we're actually just lacking gynaecology and pediatric department. All other clinical specialisations have been already realized. Much of the existing departments are comprising multiple specialisations. For example general surgery deparment is treating patients fitting to visceral surgery and urology; neurological department is treating patients fitting to neurology, neurosurgery and ophtalmology; and so on, and so on....
New DLC could separate the departments while giving more depth by adding new diagnoses

Hello everybody!
Thanks for all your suggestions.
Despite there are really many fans that want to add departments as Maternity ward, Neonatal unit, Pediatry dpt, Gynaecology or Obstetrics dpts - those will not be, most likely, added in the official update/ patch / DLC. There are reasons why:
- 1.) During some stages of development we had to manage all possible diagnosis, diseases that will have their place in the game - we have decided, that we do not want any ill children / pregnant women in the game (because almost every patient in PH can die)- and that is too sensitive for large population including us. On the one hand we understand that it could be very nice to have departments where a new life is born, but on the other hand, respecting the previous decision, it will soon become boring monotone department with lack of action (complications, new symptoms appearances, unnecessary surgeries, collapses, death).
- 2.) As you may have to discover, there are no diseases in the game database, that could be treated as "disgusting and inappropriate" - and there too many those diseases in gynaecology or obstetrics. The design of this type of department could end up in the trash becuse of the lack of diagnosis that could fit in the game.
The rest of mentioned departments (elderly services, nutrition and dietetics or physiotherapy) could be an option for future development. Psychiatry is one of the more complicated departments to fit in the current mechanics, but could be also one of the options.
As we also working on the workshop - through modding, there will be possibility to create and add whole new department in the future.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
