How to tell what a patient is waiting for?

How can we tell what a patient is waiting for? Especially if they are no longer waiting! Knowing what they were waiting for would help to know what to improve.

I agree, it would be nice to have "waiting for..." instead of just "waiting" although the current active treatment is a pretty good indicator for this.

Hi, every single patient that enters your hospital can be cured (it would be great if that work the same in the real-life). I see that you prescribed all the necessary treatments. In this case, the most crucial treatment was Artificial ventilation. Maybe it wasn't prescribed soon enough to prevent the second respiratory failure.

If there were long delays in his treatment, that causes an increased likelihood of collapse and death. If he were waiting a long time for oxygenotherapy, then he's going to get sicker. If there aren't enough nurses to do patient checks, the patient will get sicker. If there aren't enough doctors to do doctors rounds and the repeat assessments that are done (or they get cancelled), the patient will get sicker. In my set up, if a patient goes to bed and doesn't get their primary treatment within half an hour, I look into where the slow down occurs. Are they waiting on a doctor, waiting on a treatment room, or waiting for transport?
