Money in Game

Just a few quick questions if anyone knows the answer,

1. Will the hospital be public or private or will you have the option for both? (I'd personally prefer private for the sake of game-play freedom)

2. What will the games currency be and can we change it?

3. Will there be an infinite money mode or option? (I know the devs are going for a more realistic approach - which I much agree with - but I still figure it would be nice to take break from serious game-play occasionally and just build a super hospital)

1. Private - and there will be quite a few insurance companies to work with (goals, challenges etc.)
2. Either USD or - hopefully - a few major ones to choose from (and anything in the game should be super easy to rename)
3. Yes, we're definitely considering a free/unlimited mode within sandbox

Hopefully you deside you can choose the european 'Euro' aswell! I would love that!

I really hope that the infinite money mode will just be an option that you can't go broke , or that you can infinite loan money against 0% or a small % interest. In a lot of games it disables a lot of financial reports and I don't like that. In that case you miss a lot of the game.

Would it be possible for the player to even change the name of the insurance companies via some form of mod to make it appear more like some sort of nationalised health service?

Hi, good idea, we'll probably choose a similar solution (not only because it will be actually easier to implement), it makes sense to keep all the financial statistics available even if your budget isn't limited.

Sure, all the names are in editable text files, so feel free to change them to your liking

will there be a possibility to have a public hospital option? you get funding fiom the government, as your hospital improves you get mote finding?

please, would there be only three insurance companies as in the demo or would there be the possibility of more with their own objectives/rewards?

Hi, while I can't give you an exact number yet, I can confirm that there will be more - we actually need more insurance companies to be able to add objectives for the rest of the departments that are being added to the game before release.

I totally agree with the unlimited funds mode for sure. It is much needed by initial launch. Looking forward to launch so I can finally play

Will be able to have an option for unlimited money?

There is a box you can check when you first start a sandbox game, which gives you unlimited building for free, I believe (not positive, haven't used it).
