problem with starting the surgery
Mon Nov 05, 2018 3:17 pm
Hello,
often it happens to me that the surgery does not start (even if it is programmable) and then the patient is transported to ICU and shortly thereafter dies. the image can explain better, someone happens? do you know why?

Surgery at night
Tue Nov 06, 2018 8:46 am
Hi,
interesting observation. I had a similar occasion where a patient was waiting for over 24h in ICU for surgery and also ended up dying.
Maybe a related question, how do you program when a surgery happens and does it also happen at night?

Try turning off patient care and patient transfer for your surgery nurses and turn off diagnostics/observation for your surgeon, anesthetist, and doctor assisting surgery. That should free them up to concentrate on surgery without seeing any other patient.
