[RESOLVED] Typing In Forms Still Changes Speed
Mon Nov 26, 2018 8:16 pm
As titled. I thought i was going to be rid of that nuisance.
Also, the physicians and technicians just display "Performing:" with nothing after it when they are doing some things. I cannot say exactly under what conditions, but sometimes there is text displayed after "Performing:" and sometimes there is nothing.
And, last but not least, I am finally playing with Patch 7 which only arrived on GOG three days after it was on Steam. Pretty lousy customer support.

Hi slink
Are we talking about the save game dialog? That should be indeed fixed, let me double check.
The missing text after the "reserved for"/"performing" characters only appears if you load a save from the previous version of the game, where the info wasn't available yet, so it should get cleared quite quickly. I really hope you like the feature though!
Are you using GOG Galaxy or direct downloads on the website? While we published both Steam and GOG versions at the same time on Friday, it's true that it takes some time for the builds to appear on the website - usually less than a day though. I'd recommend using Galaxy anyway, but I'm aware some people prefer GOG so they can avoid using clients altogether.

Yes, in the save game dialog and also in the name hospital dialog. They may have forgotten that the space bar pauses and, more importantly, un-pauses the game. The space bar still does that in those dialogs.
I use direct download because I want control of my versions, but the blue dot did not even show up for Galaxy users until Monday. I once read somewhere that GOG never does any updates over a weekend. If that is true then releasing a new version on Friday guarantees that GOG players will not see that update until Monday.
