[OPEN LOW] Speed Change on Saving/Loading Revisited
Tue Nov 20, 2018 8:20 pm
I have the answer. If you use a number in the filename of your save, the speed changes to match that number. The filename block should not pass through keystrokes to the running game, in my opinion. This is from inside the game, of course, since you cannot save from the main menu.
I think the reason I thought the speed was changing when I loaded a game was because the speed had actually changed while I was typing in the filename, thus the save was made at the higher speed. I only noticed it when the speed was higher than I am accustomed to playing.
And if you number your saves with the Day, as I do, you will apparently randomly get this effect. I guess I will have to use the alphabet.

Oh, I see! Should be an easy fix now that we know the cause.
