I thought it would be cool to start an introduction thread to get to know everyone . I'll start...

I'm the Bearded Buccaneer, also known as Andy. I'm from Bradford in the UK and moved to Dusseldorf, Germany at the start of 2017. I'm a product manager for a large telecomms company.

As you can probably tell from my username I love anything to do with pirates, but I am also massively into management/simulation games and have been playing them for as long as I can remember. I've been spending the last couple of months perfecting my streaming setup, and plan to start streaming my play sessions for fun! Other than gaming in my spare time I am teaching myself Unity, and go on long walks with my soon to be wife and our two doggos. I'm also part of a large gaming community that plays a lot of military shooters, strategy games and of course Sea Of Thieves

im John! im from Switzerland, 32 yo. i have been a firefighter/paramedic for almost ten years, then i moved into the ER unit as a nurse. Ive always been a medical fanatic. Unfortunately im not able to work at the ER due to medical condition ( complex epilepsy ) so i have to do a total reconversion. My second passion is the aeronautic, especially the WWII warbird, but im a general aviation geek too.

I love to play managment/strategy game, and when i heard about Project Hospital i went totaly crazy, always dreamed about a game like this! i play alot of plane simulator, and some fps, actually starting Far Cry 5!

I hope that we will get a good community in the futur!

my name is Kai. Im 31 years old from Germany (Saarland). Ive been a paramedic for 6 Years before i started studying medicine back in 2013 (im almost done by now). Im really looking forward to the medical accuracy this game hopefully has to offer.

I love simulator/strategy-games mostly. As John in the previous post im really into flying and planning to get a private-piloting-license when the time (and money) has come.

Hi everybody, I'm Francesco an italian doctor, resident in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.
I like simulation games, and I'm following the developement of simulation in medicine (rg. high fidelity simulation for surgery/invasive procedures).
I really like the idea of this game / simulator, as also thanks to the mod it will help to simulate and explain the dynamics of the flow of patients inside the hospital.

I'm an Electronic Engineer from the UK who has recently gotten back into gaming after a small break! I fell in love with management and strategy games in my younger years having cut my teeth on games like Theme Hospital, SimCity and Theme Park. I've always enjoyed the challenge of finding logical solutions to the problems that present themselves in these sorts of games, I feel that a big part of being exposed to that as a youngster helped shaped who I became later in life!

I'm most into games that are multifaceted in nature, ones where there's more than one way to achieve a particular outcome which is why I've been enjoying games like Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress, Software Inc so much recently. I had been thinking a lot about hospital games before I'd heard about Project Hospital and constantly questioned why no one had decided to tackle this particular sub genre of management game with a realistic setting. Seeing the announcement of Project Hospital was fantastic news to me and knowing it was an indie developer that was taking on the challenge and seeing all of their replies has bolstered my confidence in the future of this game!

Outside of working and gaming, I'm into sailing, sea kayaking and fishkeeping! The former two have taken a bit of a back-seat in recent years due to a horrible accident however I'm slowly working towards being able to get back on the water ! Looking forward to the community building up here and eventually being able to get my hands on the game! Keep going Oxymoron, I cannot wait to get stuck into this!

I work in the Facilities department of Europe's largest acute hospital, at my forum username namesake, the QEUH in Glasgow, UK. My work involves helping to oversee everything from cleaning and catering, up to portering, stores and everything in-between across the hospital campus, including bed allocation, liaising with nursing staff and things like that. Hospital games interest me due to that, the inner-workings of a hospital fascinate me due to how the medical and non-medical side of things interact in order to deliver patient care

I live in the US in Weatherford, Texas that loves simulation games. I have a love for Japanese aviation, and play I am an air traffic controller 4, I came across this game looking at theme hospital, and I think it looks amazing, but I wish we had more information and screenshots. I have a weird attraction and interest in hospitals and love looking at layouts and drawing plans for this game!

My name is Adrian (EdRyan due to my former drama-teacher in school), I'm 21 years old and live in Bremen, Germany.
After ma A-levels I learned farmer for a year. Now I work as an emergency medical technician (Retungssanitäter) here in Bremen.
My work-related interests are Agriculture/Biology of plants, Mobility, and Geography. The target is to start studying soon I once considered to study medicine because my interests have ever been in this metier as well, but actually I do not think this is fitting for me as a profession.
In my free time I volunteer my time for the Red Cross emergency and disaster services, love my dog and my little raised-bed garden on my balcony.
I also like riding my bike and miss the black forest, where I grew up and loved to do mountainbiking.

In my younger years I loved to play simulation, builidng and tycoon games such as Roller Coaster Tycoon, SimCity or Simutrans and was always looking desperately for a realistic hospital simulation game. After years, finally, you guys are developing such a game for that I love you already!

For a long time I played the browsergame "leitstellenspiel.de" for which I created custom graphics for the community and tried to do modding in Simutrans too.
So I'm looking forward to the opportunities Project Hospital offers for modders and that this game gets a vivid community!

Hello. My name is Tina, and I am a disabled 55 year old housewife from Eastern USA. I love simulation games and city builders. I am a lifelong(it feels like it) fan of all the Sims games. My current favorites are Planet Coaster, Cities Skylines, Banished, Sims 3 and 4 and games that let you "run:" or manage things. We have 8 cats in our crazy house and I am our family's techy nerd, even though my husband works for a large bank in their international funds transfer area. I am the one who sets up and programs the new phones when needed or fix our one of our glitchy computers. I love games that having modding capabilities, because after a while I may get bored with a vanilla version of a game and I may want to try to make the game bend in the way I want. That is one of the reasons, I hope to get picked to beta test this game. I want this to be a memorable game like Theme Hospital was. I want it to be fun, memorable and surpass everyone's' expectations. I can't wait to dig my claws into this.

Hi I'm Daryl, a 25 year old UK junior doctor working in acute medicine with an interest, and future career plan, in emergency medicine. I've played video games all my life and in fact I think Theme Hospital was one of my first PC games. Loved it then and love it now. Shame there aren't as many fantastic management games around now.

Very interested in seeing how this turns out especially the diagnostic side. I think technology and video games, especially VR, has a massive part to play in the future of medicine. For example, imagine running a major incident scenario in VR for ED trainees rather than the classic tabletop sims that are done.

Any who, can't wait to see the final product guys. If you need any help with anything on the medicine give me a shout (I'm sure you guys have loads of help already).

Tom here. I work in the wine trade actually, but I’ve always had a fascination with hospitals and healthcare. I decided to pursue languages at university instead of going a science route, but I have always retained an interest - maintained, perhaps, by my own experiences as a patient and those of my family. Between autoimmune conditions, childhood illnesses, and family members who have experienced cancer, I have always massively respected what healthcare professionals do for us. My partner is also a hospital doctor, so I often feel like I’m getting a crash course in whatever she is working with.

Needless to say, Theme Hospital was a massive part of my life.

I'm 32 and from Minnesota, studying Health Information Technology. I spent a lot of time playing Theme Hospital when I was younger and mainly play RPGs and Simulators now. I have a background in farming, environmental studies, and geography. I'm excited to see how this game turns out!

I play and test all kind of games (also at work), but recently fps games. I dont know why because my reflexes are slow now days, but have to play something while waiting for project hospital, right

Hi I am RJ and I am from the a tiny Island in the Caribbean called Antigua. I am a Financial Advisor by profession however the field of Science and medicine has always attracted me. I am very much into management style games and one day I am interested in hosting my own channel. I am very excited about the release of this game and I think it combines a lot of the aspects of running a true hospital. Kudos to the developers you have certainly done a great job at giving us a peek into the future development.
