[QUESTION] Ear examination not available

Have a patient in the hospital that has 1 hidden symptom, the only examination left is the ear examination but it's impossible to perform. Cause : doctor is not qualified to prescribe. The original diagnosis was a mandibular fracture and the treatment has been performed in the orthopedy department. I've transfered the patient to ICU hoping they could do the ear exam there but not possible either.

Over time the hidden issue turned from not-critical to critical and there's absolutely nothing i can do about it except sending the patient away. Patient name: Thomas Jones.

Hello - well ear examination is not allowed to be provided on icu. You have patient under your control - when you give the control back to AI - doc will provide doctors round check and reveals the last symptom, that could be actually treated on the icu

To be clear, this patient arrived by himself trough the orthopedy clinic. From what I understand otrhopedy cannot do ear examination so this patient had an undiscoverable hidden symptom that I just could do nothing about. I had the patient under doctor control for 2 days in HDU orthopedy, the doctors couldn't do anything to find the last remaining hidden symptom, trying to enforce it gave the same message - doctor not qualified.

But yes, you're right. After i gave the control back to AI a doc came and did another physical examination and found the issue.

So two problems :
1) There's patients with an undiscoverable hidden symptom that requires ear examination in orthopedy.
2) if the symptom was to be revealed by a physical examination then under player control the player should have the option to select it.

1.) Well that ear examination at Orthopaedy dpt is not really necessary - the weird thing is that your docs did not uncover it at its dpt.
