[QUESTION] Late patient

Just had a patient arrive after 21:00 and went to ER reception. Waited a while. Receptionist came back to work, patient checked in and sat down then went home becaues the clinic was closed.

Just had a patient check in next morning just before 08:00 and left, presumable because the clinic had not yet opened.

Got another one and managed to save it.
Patient arrives at 07:42, checks in at reception but goes home.
Save attached.

I'm seeing this a lot now since the patch. Looks like patients are spawning right up to 20:00 and by the time they get to reception the receptionist has left. Just seen one instance where the receptionist was just about to leave the map and then walked all the way back to reception. No wonder she is always tired.

Hi, thanks for the report and the save! This should be actually easy to fix on your side - just extend the reception room (in management mode) by a few tiles in front of the reception desk. This way the patients that need to visit the receptionist will wait there instead of going to the hospital one by one, making the clinic much more efficient. Feel free to also check the reception prefabs if you'd like to see an example.

Wow, did that and about 50 patients arrived all at the same time. Settled down after a few days and seems to work much better now. Might start a new map and see how it plays out.
