You have to follow this step, which was posted here: "Modding tutorial: creating new mods"
"Each mod needs to reside in its own folder under StreamingAssets\Addons - let's call it StreamingAssets\Addons\[NameOfYourMod]"
But, I couldn't upload one either. I got the following error: "Update failed". Someone got any infos on that?

I've followed that step (the mods are in game) but no luck.

I found the fix! Add mod_ to the front of your folder in addons. StreamingAssets\Addons\mod_[NameOfYourMod] .
The game will see it and will work!

Thank you, that now makes them visible however they appear to be be 'blank' when uploaded to the workshop.

Ooooops, yes, the folder name needs to start with "Mod", this way the game doesn't list all the language packs in the Addons folder in the mod upload UI. I'll update the documentation.
Regarding the upload - you can check the log file, there might be some info/errors that could point us in the right direction.

Got it folks, thank you both for your help. My mods are now live!
