Uploading a mod to the workshop Empty Uploading a mod to the workshop

Fri May 31, 2019 5:23 pm
Hi, sorry for another question.

I have created a couple of mods, however, while they work in game and show up in game I am unable to use the in-game interface to upload them.

Uploading a mod to the workshop Nomods10

How can I fix this?

You have to follow this step, which was posted here: "Modding tutorial: creating new mods"
"Each mod needs to reside in its own folder under StreamingAssets\Addons - let's call it StreamingAssets\Addons\[NameOfYourMod]"

But, I couldn't upload one either. I got the following error: "Update failed". Someone got any infos on that?

I've followed that step (the mods are in game) but no luck.

I found the fix! Add mod_ to the front of your folder in addons. StreamingAssets\Addons\mod_[NameOfYourMod]  .
The game will see it and will work!

Ooooops, yes, the folder name needs to start with "Mod", this way the game doesn't list all the language packs in the Addons folder in the mod upload UI. I'll update the documentation.

Regarding the upload - you can check the log file, there might be some info/errors that could point us in the right direction.
