[WORKED AROUND] Won't launch since the last update

Hi,
As requested by Roman on Steam app, this is the log for my crash.
Problem is that The game doesn't launch anymore since the last update (crashing and back to windows on main start screen)

Hi, thanks for joining us on the forums, sorry that it's because of such an issue.
It seems that the log is missing from your post - you can use the "Reply to topic" button to get back to the upload dialog, if the file is really big it's the best to zip it up.

do you have citrix workspace installed on you machine ? , if yes , uninstall it

Hi, it's true that external software, namely Citrix, has been responsible for most hard crashes we got reported after release - here's a thread with more info: https://projecthospital.forumotion.com/t1730-citrix-game-crashes-on-start-up

Hi, thanks for the update and the log file!
Unfortunately we can't see any specific error, it just cuts off at the point where we usually see initialization of Steam functionality. There are still some options, I'll put more info in a PM.

Hi, well, happy to hear that the isuue has somehow fixed itself on your side! 
Still, I don't want to count it as fixed yet, so in the meantime I've prepared a specific version of the game that prints more info into the log and doesn't play the background video in main menu - the reasoning is that the main changes in the game startup between the versions have been Workshop (which we already ruled out) and the video.
So, if you come across the crash again (hopefully not!
), here's how to switch to the debug version:
- Right click Project Hospital in the library list on Steam, go to properties
- Choose beta-debugging under the betas tab (second screenshot here https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/branches )
- Uninstall and reinstall (this doesn't affect saved games)
