[OPEN LOW]Patient hospitalization process not completed correctly
Thu Jun 04, 2020 1:34 pm
Problem description:
Some patients who were required to be hospitalized may get stuck for a full day or more with the status display showing "Waiting for transfer".
View the patient's whereabouts and he/she is already laid to bed in the hospital room. From this, it seems that part of the transfer procedure is not working properly.
In addition, nurses often say "lack of stretchers" when such stacks occur. But this is also a false report. There are enough stretchers and nurses waiting in the hospital, with multiple nurses and stretchers waiting in place.
For such patients, the department cannot be changed to ICU, moved to HDU (if in general ward), and no treatment is available.
The only possible option is to transfer to another hospital (red button to the right of the star of satisfaction). If you instruct a transfer, he/she will disappear after a while.
screenshot:
A male patient named "大城 隆哉" is listed as "waiting for transfer to bed" in the patient card status, but he is already sleeping in the bed in the hospital room.
Attachment:
・logfile (output_log.zip)
・Two auto save files (autosave_H08.zip/autosave_H20.zip)
Files not included because the maximum number of files that can be attached at one time has been reached:
・Data saved manually at the time of writing this report (bugreport_001.zip)

Another female patient with similar problems was found.
I have not restarted the game since the topic was created, and I continue to play.
I also found some interesting facts.
1. When I check the room in the management mode, he/she is displayed as the user on the bed.
2. In construction mode the bed is green and you can see that it is in use or reserved by someone.

Hi and thank you for your report. I took a look at your save and was able to find out what is going on. This happens only in very specific case like you have in your hospital. You have Emergency and Orthopaedy on the same floor only connected by elevator. Good thing is that there is an easy workaround. If you make doors that would connect those two departments, they will transfer the patients immediately. In the meantime, we will have a look on what can be done on our side. Have a great day

Thank you for the quick answer.
Your comment was very helpful!
Immediately after moving the obstacles at the adjoining points of the two rooms and installing the doors, the nurses moved the patient to the appropriate room.
