Staff control
Mon Jul 06, 2020 7:15 pm
>Remark: Some of the votes against the update were due to the 2nd proposal. It has been removed. So don't mind.
Hi, here are my features and suggestions:
1) Staff control:
It would be interesting to see a wider control of personnel (the issuance of bonuses, fines, promotions, career growth of staff or reprimands). Based on our decisions or decisions of department heads, the employee will receive new traits / position / high salary, or vice versa dismissal / fine / reprimand in the employee’s personal card. It may be worthwhile to create a separate interface for such functionality, where the player or department heads will be able to deal with staff affairs. This will make the game more diverse as there is none anywhere else. Through the panel, it will also be possible to give vacations / diplomas or even senior positions that will help to control all this. The function seems interesting to me. These functions will make the game more diverse and help you escape from the routine of medicine, allowing you to really feel like a head doctor. How do you like the idea? Please give an assessment with comments, thanks!
All this can be added in Doctor Mode or in the new DLC or in the main game.

I like some of the ideas for additional staff control but don't like the idea of mini games or running procedures.
There is a long list of apps and simulations where you can diagnose patients or try procedures.
It is difficult to do this well, and in Project Hospital would distract from what this product does well and could do better, which is allow you to build and run a hospital.

Sometimes it’s boring just to build and manage. I want to personally help with something. Perhaps such mini-games could only be done when staff asks you. It will not be so distractingnanook wrote:I like some of the ideas for additional staff control but don't like the idea of mini games or running procedures.

Hello!
Guys, please write why you are against/for the idea. Unconstructive criticism is not accepted.

If you had split the idea in two polls, it would be easier. While I support your first idea, I dislike your second so I end up not voting at all because neither option fits.

Hmm, is the first idea really bad? What didn't you like about her?DocDesastro wrote:If you had split the idea in two polls, it would be easier. While I support your first idea, I dislike your second so I end up not voting at all because neither option fits.

Quite the opposite. The game could use some personal management. I could like that. Playing mini games however, while doing cures...no. I do not need that.

Possibly, but sooner or later everyone will get tired of just managing. Mini-games are a step forward and can be implemented in an interesting way so that they do not interfere. Too bad people didn't appreciateDocDesastro wrote:Quite the opposite. The game could use some personal management. I could like that. Playing mini games however, while doing cures...no. I don't know about getting tired of it provided the concept evolves in the right direction. Cities Skylines, Prison Architect, and many more you can come back to time and time again.Ruslan wrote:

Trying to add some extra bling in the form of mini games can distract from what this product does well. My issue is that if it not done well then don't do it because that will hurt things far more than the base game becoming a little repetitive.
I would rather see the effort of the developers put into building a more robust hospital sim but I'll bite, what do you see being done in these mini games?

I have a bad fantasy. In general, you can make a small simulation of operations (as in browser games) or test analyzes (look for bacteria and click on them, do not touch healthy cells). All mini-games should be simple as it doesn't take long to develop. Mini-games could be triggered in cases where staff cannot cope and asks for help. As a last resort, it can be turned off. How can this be distracting? I also remembered that mini-games can be made in the form of dialogue. And with the help of dialogue, we will be able to solve various problems that the employees have. Also, through the dialogue, it will be possible to decide whether you want to help or not. Let's say need help with the operation and in the dialogue you can choose "yes / no", if yes - a mini-game will be played. No - there won't be a mini-game, but something bad may happen. You seem to think that the "minigame" you imagine is unobtrusive and harmless to most people.
But first, you have to understand that the development team needs a lot of work to actually produce it.
It doesn't exist in current games at all, it's new. Adding something completely new to an existing game is by no means easy.
And, unfortunately, I don't agree with the idea of "minigames." It's unlike any previous Project Hospital, and it's unfamiliar. I don't think it needs to be installed at Project Hospital.
Existing games have their own characteristics and individuality.
What kind of function and game system exist is also important.
I've found you like systems like "minigames", but whether it really matches Project Hospital is another matter entirely.
On the other hand, I find "staff control" very interesting.
For example, a staff member with dirty feet may be warned by his boss about it, fined, regretful, and endeavor to eliminate bad Perks.
Similarly, staff with some bad Perks may be automatically penalized for any penalties or training to improve them, depending on the setting of control options.
(For example, "Alcoholic" may need a fine, but don't punish "Fresh parent" or "Long commute"...it's unavoidable...)
It may work like another game that manages a "hospital" organization.
I think it is suitable as one of the large-scale DLC.

Perhaps I will remove the idea of mini-games after all. It is a pity that people are not yet ready to face the future. Everyone just wants to look at how people run in the game.
I will keep the first idea of "Staff control". I'm glad that at least someone likes her. I hope you now make the right decision and tell other people about it. But the developers probably don't implement it

Oh we are ready for the future - we just do not agree with your opinion of adding mini-games into the game or are ready for the future you perceive it is - that is all. The staff control idea is quite useful and good. Just do not make us feel like we are some kind of cyber-neanderthalians if we just do not agree with you. Could help your reputation rating as well. People seem to get angry about things you wrote.

I'm not here for the rating (Voices are important to me. I listen to them). I just suggested an idea that I found interesting. I have already removed the mini-games.
If someone doesn't like me, that's okay. I cannot be a good person for everyone.
