Ideas for additions to existing departments

We could add endoscopy unit to internal medicine.
Coronary Care Unit to cardiology as well as cath lab.
The assets mostly exist already I guess.

Endoscopy would be operating theatre table and trolleys.
Just add doctor and two nurses for procedure. +/- anaesthetist for GA if needed. Cupboard could be converted to scope cupboard that autocleans equipment. Monitor to watch internal bit. Can serve inpatients and outpatients by admitting them as daycares to IM wards.

CCU would be HDU bed, nurses station can have multiscreen TVs for telemetry and has to be within close range of beds.

Cath lab = operating table plus x-ray combination. Requires doctor, two nurses, one radiographer and again can have patients admitted as daycases or inpatients. It can also ignore radiographer requirement for ablations or cardioversions. (Could ignore doctor requirement for cardioversions if they're DC too)

Love your ideas, Endoscopy should be easy to mod, only the animations for the procedure would be the problem, maybe someone can recycle some of the existing ones.
