Existing Maps Tweak?

Just wondering as I think it would be nice; is it possible for the existing maps to be tweaked to better match the current game?

I noticed while doing the Campaign and Doctor Mode that the maps still include surgery for Internal Medicine even though it now uses specialised treatment rooms instead. It feels like an easy fix (bet I'm wrong) and it would help when you're learning the ropes, as you might not realise it's set up wrong. Campaign 2 is a good example.
