[RESOLVED DUPLICATE] Headless patients in bed; unable to select/delete/move Empty [RESOLVED DUPLICATE] Headless patients in bed; unable to select/delete/move

Mon Dec 21, 2020 2:08 pm
Description:

A bed in the observation department is occupied by a body without a head.

Repro:

Not sure when/how it happened.  I have attempted to delete the bed but I cannot select/move/delete the bed.  Bed alternates between blue/red when trying to select it. I have tried removing componets needed to make the bed functional; no results.  Bed is stuck, cannot move/delete.

I have mods installed but they fairly benign: more floors, more doctors, community addon pack, more occupations.  (and all DLC)

Hi, thanks for the report and welcome to the forum!

Hopefully the root cause has been already fixed, plus there's a workaround:
"For the beds - if you wait trough midnight, they will be freed (visually they will stay the same) and you will be able to delete them. There was a know issue that was causing this, and the fix preventing this is live already, but if you encounter this before updating it could still happen. Hopefully this was the case."

Here are the original reports:
https://projecthospital.forumotion.com/t3079-resolvedpatient-is-headless-in-bed-occupies-multiple-beds-and-is-also-walking-around-and-being-seen-in-offices
https://projecthospital.forumotion.com/t3110-resolved-headless-patients-stuck-in-bed-janitor-stuck-on-chair-while-planing-to-use-the-toilet

If you encounter it again, it would be great if you could attach your latest save and if possible more details - but again, let's hope that this is still a symptom from before the latest patch. Smile
