How can i add an Elevator that does not goes up all the floors? (BUG?)

Hello

i have a building width 4 Floors connected by an eleveator.
Now i want to have a second bulding only with 2 Floors. But when i build an elevator, its building a 4 floors high Tower

What can i do? I dont want to have all Buildings the same Hight.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do for this.

One of my first hospitals was a group of separate buildings on that big grass lot.  I needed to expand, so I built an elevator "pedestal" in the middle that towered up and I added a second lot floating in mid air 6 floors above the ground in which I built another group of separate buildings.  I love the freedom this game gives you to build anything you want even if it defies physics or common sense, lol.
