[OPEN LOW] Empty Staff and Patient Menus
Fri Nov 16, 2018 6:27 am
No use in attaching a save. Forgot to take a SS. Will take one if it happens again.
Campaign 1. Day 2. At the start of day 2 the staff list showed i had no doc's, no nurses, a few cleaners. That's it.
As for patients, 6 patients walked in, i had 4-6 already hospitalized from the night before. No patients of any kind showed up on any list.
Saving, exiting to menu, loading game seems to have resolved it.

Closing the "patient" lists and then re-opening, in my case, it auto closed for building (i think) resulted in blank lists. Open/close was during paused game. Mid-day.

Hi, thanks for the report! One thing that really needs to be improved (and should be soon) is that the tables don't show which filter is active, so it's possible you were looking at patients from another department or only untreated patients or something along those lines, without being able to tell it was the case.

Ok. That's exactly what happened. Thanks for letting me know.
My main goal is making sure i control as many patients as possible up till i can be certain of a diagnosis. My doc's get it wrong quite a bit. I think i've gotten 1 diagnosis wrong ever. Maybe i'm "over testing" the patients?
I usually perform all tests that have no discomfort. They're usually quick and help reveal more symptoms.
Then i prioritize low discomfort tests based on the symptoms.
If at any point like.. a possible ankle fracture, i go right for the xray.
If 30% of the symptoms are hidden and more tests are available, i'll keep running tests to make sure it's not a misdiagnosis.
Once i'm comfortable with the diagnosis.. i set all the treatments and turn care over to the doc's.
There's no "easy" way to mark/track every patient once you hit the tracking limit in this scenario. I'd love to see all patients i haven't controlled or manually released from my own assessment. As it stands now, once i cap on controlled patients, doctors do their thing with the new ones and once i have some room to control more patients, i have to search every department for patients that haven't been seen by me.
Maybe i'm just handling or playing the game incorrectly? Maybe i want to micro manage too much?
Either way thanks for the reply. At least i can now find them with extensive digging.

A thought, if i could see all patients, from all departments that have not been diagnosed by ME, then that would solve my entire thing.
- [OPEN LOW] Empty bench unmovable in waiting room
- [RESOLVED] Cannot open staff card from staff list (sometimes)
- [RESOLVED] Weirdness when assigning staff from staff list window (assign staff from wrong department or multiple staff on one workstation)
- [OPEN LOW] "A patient is about to leave". I hire a new medic, assign the patient on the new doctor, make him "Code blue", yet the doctor takes someone else in
- [RESOLVED] Staff/Patient Satisfaction
