DLC Suggestions Empty DLC Suggestions

Hello everyone. I'm a healthcare worker here and all I can say is that I am very impressed with this game and the amount of detail and authenticity that it brings to healthcare professionals like me.

Since we are getting an upcoming DLC for services, I would like to bring forth a couple of suggestions for future DLCs. I think this game has great potential to become a close to reality strategy on hospital planning/ administration compared to the other ones in the market.

DLC: Women's Health
I know this is one of the most requested expansions for this franchise. A couple of great modders already brought it to life in the workshop. I just want to have it embedded into the game with more features.
Features:
OBGYN physicians with specialties in surgery, anesthesia (can give spinal & epidural anesthesia), & diagnosis
Operating room in this specialty will deal with delivery (natural & C-sections) & gynecological disorders (hysterectomy, vaginoplasty, cancers etc.)
Nurses specializing in surgery; also a nurse-midwife specialty is an option (giving them the ability to deliver normal deliveries and assist the surgeon).
This will use a special type of bed (bed with stirrups for natural birth and exams) & incubators for the baby
Neonatologists specialty is also required in this DLC to deal with the child after delivery (perhaps another OBGYN specialty)
Examples of disorders: Polycystic ovarian syndrome, vaginal bleeding, prolapse, preeclampsia, eclampsia, gestational hypertension & diabetes
Examples of procedures: hysterectomy; hysteroscopy; vaginal birth; c-section; salpingo-oophorectomy

DLC: Pediatrics
I believe that pediatrics deserve its own DLC because of the vast amount of scope that the specialty covers
Features:
Pediatric physicians with specialties in surgery, anesthesia, & diagnosis
Operating room in this specialty will deal with unique pediatric disorders (congenital disorders such as cleft palate, atresia, tetralogy of Fallot)
Will use a pediatric bed (smaller) and offers toys & other decorations fit to entertain a child
Examples of disorder: respiratory croup; epiglottitis, aspiration of foreign objects
Examples of procedures: congenital correction surgeries

DLC: Interventional Radiology
I think the radiology specialty needs a real extension with the capacity to treat and operate. A lot of modern curative medicine relies on minimally invasive procedures
Features:
Interventional radiologists with specialties in procedural, diagnostic, & anesthesia (many procedures require editions)
Unique features include a bed with C-arm tables (fluoroscopy-guided procedures)
The diagnostic part will bridge the missing gap of radiologist reading radiological images of advanced diseases (grading of aneurysms etc.)
The procedural part will include many procedures done with C-arm tables
Examples of procedures- Atrial fibrillation ablation, central line insertions, pacemaker insertion (may need electrophysiologists), vascular procedures (aneurysm repairs)

DLC: Rehabilitation
I think that patient rehabilitation after hospitalization (especially in surgical & orthopedic procedures) will offer a unique spin to the franchise
Rehabilitation physicians (physiologists) will be managing various patients conditions & treatment
Therapists will be used in this DLC instead of nurses (physical therapists; occupational therapists, speech therapists) to carry out interventions
Unique items will include various rehab equipment such as treadmills & canes & walkers to strengthen the patients.
Examples of disorders: dysphagia (inability to swallow); people that suffered one-sided weakness after stroke; orthopedic patients on casts

DLC: Psychiatry
This also provides a unique addition to series, offering many possibilities for game expansion
Psychiatrist that specialize in diagnostic & procedural (electro-convulsive therapy, hypnosis)
Unique equipment includes a lounge chair for patients to sit on and have a talk with the doctor
Examples of disorders: depression, substance abuse, OCD, schizophrenia
Examples of procedures: electroconvulsive therapy, deep brain stimulation device, hypnosis

DLC: Oncology
Treatment & surgical removal of many cancers will be a cool addition to the franchise
Oncologists specializing in diagnostic; surgery; & anesthesia
Unique equipment includes radiation machine & chemotherapy
Examples of disorders: various cancers (adenoma, melanoma, metastatic ca)
Examples of procedures: cancer debulking

That's all the DLC that I can think of for now. I also have a couple of ideas to make the game more realistic

Basement- I think this game should seriously consider basements because a large part of many of the specialties are in basements in real hospitals (ex. pharmacy, morgue/ autopsy, lab, radiology)

Since they made a physician-focused DLC maybe nurses also should get some attention. They should have more mobile specialty branches and can perform advanced practice (anesthesia, nurse practitioner roles once they reach the top of their career). They should also have a different manager (nurse manager to supervise them)

Security & utilities- Maybe some will not agree with equipment breaking and needing repair but various ancillary roles with security and repairs are an essential part of real-life hospital management. Even consider fire safety (operating rooms etc.) & the possibility of having fire accidents

Possibility of robotic procedures (just because they are cool looking).

They previously said that they won't add pediatrics or obstetrics (don't want kids or pregnant women dying and technical issues). They says no oncology or psychiatry because it's very long them hospitalization and not the same kind of treatment. I think it will be the same problem for rehabilitation.
But I like the idea of robotic procedure it can be part of a new department like micro-surgery or something like that.
I think that they talk about a gender health nee department (not sure) so if I'm right woman health will be a part of this new department but for now there is a mod on steam for sexual health I think.

For the issue of dying children and babies: maybe do a force transfer to critical babies and children instead of them dying. A prompt will say "the patient is too critical and will be sent to another hospital"

I know most of the suggestions are technically difficult and require a lot of new animations. But it can be developed in the long haul once the franchise gets well established for longevity.

A microsurgery department would be an awesome alternate to the original suggestions.

Excuse me if this is in the game, but before surgery, the equipment needs to be processed by Sterile Services, so would be nice to see this in the game if it isn't already.

That is true. There should be a sterilization department. I also was thinking of a post OR/ recovery room service.

I wonder what to think about cosmetic surgeries!?
And I am not only talking silicone here, but restorative surgery after accidents, fire-burns, malformations, after cancer treatment etc. - yes ofc we might get silicone boobs and big behinds as well, but this is rather 'funny' when compared to the reasons, we have those surgeries in the first place.
