Staffing and Cleaning

Just found the game today and my husband and I really enjoy most of it! We have put a few hours into playing on the sandbox mode for now, not campaign but there are a few things we would definitely suggest.

Overall its a great game and we’ve really enjoyed playing it. Well done
Pros
- Neat UI.
- Great visuals
- We really like the patient care mechanics. How we treat patients is really cool even if it’s not the entirety of the game. Well done there.
- We like the amount of customization options

- It would be great if I could just de-zone smaller sections of a room without de-zoning the entire room. I wanted to go from a 5x5 to a 6x4 and, before I realized this would happen, the entire thing de-zoned and I lost all my staff and my clinic started failing. I started de-zoning by zoning with the corridor but that’s really making it harder than it needs to be. Either that or make reassigning the staff simpler. For some reason theres at least one staff that always ends up greyed out and I can’t reassign them to anything so then it becomes like a 20 minute ordeal of trying to reassign staff etc.
- Small thing. It would also be nice to have a solid coloured exterior wall? We used the “coloured exterior wall with brick bottom” and then tried to use the “coloured wall” in the same colour but it was definitely not the same colour and I’m wondering if it’s because “coloured wall” is an interior wall?
- This probably belongs in the “bugs” forum and I’ll post there as well in case someone else can help. I moved my cleaning closet across the hall and tried to move my cart from one room to the other. Even though no one is hired in the room, and the cart is absolutely not in use, the cart is green and I can’t move it or delete it. I even closed the entire department to make sure no one was using it. So now I just have a cart in my washroom. It would be nice to have like an absolute destroy button regardless of whether it’s in use or not.
- It might be nice to have the cleaning closets as shared rooms. Staff could still be assigned to specific departments but we’ve wasted a lot of space making closets when realistically it could be shared by the janitors. Maybe if the room requirement was bigger we could fit multiple carts? I personally made one large room and just zoned each “closet” within that big room so there’s definitely a work around regardless.
Overall its a great game and we’ve really enjoyed playing it. Well done

I feel stupid that I did not think about that simple solution to make a bigger room, but zone 2x3 chunks in it..gah!
For the bucket...I realized, that at the end of each shift a janitor will put it back into the closet again. Until then, it is marked as in use and you cannot remove it, correct, which is annoying, if it stands somewhere you want to build something. I agree with the colored wall proposal.
