[QUESTION] Employees using private toilet
Sun May 03, 2020 7:59 am
Maybe devs didn't think about it, but employees shouldn't go to a regular ward, that I built to for individuals, and use the toilet I put there. I did that because I was like wtf that someone hospitalized needs to walk out of the room to use the public toilet. Then I see employees going into the room just to use the toilet and leave, even though there's a public restroom nearby That's so frustrating! Those assholes should stop doing that.

They path to the facility closest to their workplace. That's *right next door*. Put some facilities inside the nurses station and they'll use those.

Suggestion: Enable a checkbox at the restroom and decide who may use it and who not. Same for doors. Some doors should be staff only because just of this.

Easiest way to make doors staff only is put a square of 'patients not allowed' either side.

This is a suggestion for the devs to implement. We cannot do so yet as there is not such a feature. Therefore, we have the current problems.

Hi, if you add a restroom at the employee's department and mark it a staff only (red) in management mode, your staff members will start using only that one - hopefully that will get you exactly the result you're looking for!

That works ONLY when the restroom is not full. By that I mean even people planning to there. I noticed the NPC claims the toilet way before getting there. So the restrooms are often full, even though they're empty. Now let's agree on one thing: If employees restroom is full, what does a doctor do? Goes to a patients recovery room to take a dump? No! That's a flaw. And I'd need an unnecessarily big restroom for all those shitters to go and use. I could name hospital The Flush Clinic. I know making the use of a toilet inside a ward/private room would give some extra work, but it would make a lot more sense and would feel frustrating or make us create big restrooms. So this is still a bug. I hope someone can create a solution. I bet it's not a big deal.
