[OPEN] Corrupt Save?
Mon May 04, 2020 1:45 am
After saving, my thumbnail picture looks correct but the furniture on one of my levels has either disappeared or is located in random locations (see pictures and save file "Game 2"). If I view a different level and then return to this level the furniture in wrong locations disappear. I will note that I am using both an insurance mod and a more level mods (see pictures).
I am also going to attach a game save from a few minutes earlier ("Game 3").

Hi, thanks a lot for the report - according to the log it looks like something went wrong with an object attached to another object (and rendering gets stuck when it reaches these) - I'll try to have a look at the save, it should allow us to resolve the problem automatically if it happens again in the future (but it might take a while as there are mods involved).
I guess it's a bit pointless to ask about any building actions on your side involving attachments, especially if you noticed only after loading a save...but the attachments should have all the info.

Actually, I do remember at least what area I was working in. The graphics glitched and I reloaded to see if it would reset. I was working on getting hospitalization at internal medicine up and running so it was likely the on-call room, although it may have been one of the wards as well. Something in that department anyway.
Also, this game is still way too addicting. I don't even want to admit to you how many hours I've logged since the last update and DLC.

Also, as long as you have the saves anyway, two other questions I had about this same game:
(1) I built two labs so I could have a designated lab for hospitalized patients and clinic patients. However, it appears my lab techs who are set to do only clinic patients are still the ones heading to observation rooms in the ER.
(2) I built an airlock over by the ambulance entrance so I could set that entrance to staff only. However, I still have patients coming through that side entrance instead of the main door. What's odd is I remember doing the same airlock strategy before and it worked then.
