[MODDING] Pulmonary Laceration patient problem, No operating room

Hello again,

I have run into a problem where I can't treat with pulmonary surgery.  The pop up says I need an IM operating room, but there is no IM operating room to be able to place.  The IM department is showing complete with hospitalization. I tried to give one of my IM doctors the surgery skill but cannot.

Dosn't IM patients now need the special treatment room? This is not a surgery theater and only one doc is performing the procedure. Maybe a legacy bug resulting from changing IM workings?

I have all the necessary rooms including the special treatment room, but the patient is shown as requiring pulmonary surgery in the IM department.  I thought if no-one else has had this problem that maybe its one of the mods.  Can I delete or un-subscribe the mods to see if it fixes it or will it mess up the game for me?

I do not know, whether this disease is one of the core game's diseases. I cannot remember one of my patients ever having it in 100 gamedays. But I might err on this one. I do not do mods for the game so maybe uninstall and clean reinstall might work? Better get a second opinion before getting too jumpy.

I'll hold out and wait to see if anyone else has any ideas before starting over.

by the way, I see that you have object, waiting room and signs mod (Bowelas) content I'd bet. Have you watched your doctor animations for the specialty procedure room in IM? I ended up with a bug in the doctor's animation with that room because one of his mods for some strange reason edited the script for the ENT station.

I'll uninstall them and see what happens

Hi, James here, the issue with this is caused by the realistic collapses mod, since after the Internal Medicine over haul, it broke, so it might cause issues, I recommend you unsubscribe until further notice

I removed all the mods except the levels mod. Now just playing to see if it has any more problems.
