[RESOLVED NOT A BUG] Nitrates cannot be prescribed in Trauma Center

There's no reason why an ER doctor can't prescribe nitrates for someone having an active heart attack. Either this is a bug or an oversight.

Hello! well, actually, this is not a bug nor the oversight. Conditions to use nitrates are clearly described in the proper tooltip. Every treatment/examination has its own conditions to be used.

To aply nitrates on certain patient, you need to transfer him to proper department (ICU / Cardiology).

While we try to root the game in reality, there are always some compromises needed to be made to turn the topic into a game.

If someone goes to an emergency room in real life having a heart attack/unstable angina pectoris, they will receive nitrates. Often times in the game, the transfers and treatments when selected to go to a different department doesn't occur fast enough, and the patient dies.

As an EMT on an ambulance in New York, I can give nitrates. It's a very basic treatment. This is not some specialized treatment that needs to go to ICU/Cardiology.

Well, in real life i have no doubts about it. But Project Hospital is a game (not a 100% real life simulation).

As we work more and more on debugging and optimizing the gameplay, maybe, in the future we will manage and modify some procedures.
