Equipment maintenance/repair work Empty Equipment maintenance/repair work

Ideas including:
-Recruitment of technicians (and a separate room for them of course)
-A certain amount of recommended shelf life for the equipment, (of which beyond the recommended shelf life, would need maintenance/repair work more frequently)
-If possible, maybe even categorise the equipment in relevance to their complexity (which determines the minimum required skill needed for the technician to maintain and repair the piece of equipment.
-The alternative ability to subcontract the single repair job at a substantial cost, in case the technicians skill level is too low (or that you have none at all)

Thoughts?

P.S. My idea is intended from major machinery equipment (i.e. x-ray machine etc). But if possible for this idea to be rolled out to a wider range of equipment (without causing optimisation issues), then that would be great as well Smile.

In pre-alpha stages of development we have certain design of maintenance in the game, but our testers rated it poorly. We can not assure you, but maybe we will try to implement some new design in the future including whole system of repairs, maintenance operations and personel Wink
