Why isn't the game using rule-outs??? Evaluation not working?

I enjoy this game but keep coming across some real blunders that leave me scratching my head. Course I've been playing this a long time and thought that this was already incorporated.  Example: pic includes a patient that has been run through a battery of tests, notice the possible diagnoses versus the x-rays performed, the guy can't still have a possible diagnosis of fractured humerus having undergone an x-ray that revealed nothing to indicate so. If the x-ray comes back negative THE POSSIBILITY should be eliminated regardless of it being the emergency versus ortho dept. C'MON! I like this game! Why is it failing to incorporate this very basic of features!? Also, I used evaluation and it came up with nothing.

I'm also annoyed about this - finding no results should should also have impact!
It you go to a real doctor, thinking you might have broken ribs, and then come back from X-ray showing nothing, it's not like you continue diagnosing like nothing has happened.
Now you KNOW that you do not have a broken rib, it must be something else.

In the game you never exclude diagnoses based on negative results, only positive ones.
In some cases I guess this is realistic (just to be safe), but many times it feels plain stupid not to exclude a diagnose after a negative result.

What do the real doctors/nurses playing this say? They are the ones with the real knowledge on how this should work
Maybe they don't have time for games though, in these times...
