[NEED MORE INFO] Cannot delete object that is not in use

So i had this weird bug i noticed in which the radiology janitor would not clean the MRI room. After watching for a while i noticed she would grab the cart that had been left in the corridor and would just spin in circles for a while before walking back up and down the corridor cleaning here and there but still ignoring the filthy MRI room.

After looking more closely i noticed that there was actually 2 cleaning carts stacked on top of each other and there was indeed one missing from the janitors closet, so i tried moving it back to the closet but it is unclickable (and not green either, so not showing as in use).

I have tried deleting the closet but still cant click the cart in the corridor to delete or move it back where it belongs. Even tried moving room but it is still stuck there and unable to interact with it, then tried deleting the corridor it is in and redesignating it but still unclickable. On the one hand the janitor is no longer confused about life, on the other the cart is an eyesore.

The cart in question is in the corridor on the ground floor in the Radiology department.

Not heard back from the devs yet, i ended up starting a new hospital but would still like to hear about when it will be fixed and what caused the issue in the first place.

definitely something buggy in the whole janitor/cleaning cart realm right now. I've got several carts stuck outside the hospital grounds upon sidewalks and near roads. I've thought about removing the cleaning carts period once janitors are finished with them though I'd like not to.

Hi, thanks a lot for the report/save and welcome to the forums!

While we're testing a fix that will deal with the symptoms if the situation happens again (it should be included in the next patch in either case), it would be great if any of you could help us try to figure out the root cause. Have you done anything with the rooms or the janitor's workspaces? Have you been using undo frequently?

If a janitor fails to correctly place their cart, I'd expect there will be some errors in the log files, so if you spot any weird behavior again, could you attach your log? Thanks in advance!

Hello, about my cart in the corridor, that is not used (green) and not selectable, it happened after some operations of replacement of the janitor room from one floor you upper one. I've first deleted them from the day/night shift, then used transfer mode of the janitor room, finally replaced them in the shift.

I will keep an eye out for it happening again and report any changes that could be responsible.
