Tweakables File Missing Empty Tweakables File Missing

Fri Dec 04, 2020 1:57 am
Hi everyone,

I wanted to alter a few things for the game such as wait times and break times, etc. I tried locating the Tweakables.XML file and it appears I don’t have one. I have a Mac and I followed the chain below:

X/steamapps/common/Project Hospital/ProjectHospital_Data/StreamingAssets/

And there was nothing there. Any idea what could have happened? Or where else it may be?

Hi, the paths will be a bit different on a Mac, something like project_hospital.app/Contents/Resources/Data/Steaming Assets.
Probably the best way to start would be to go start with Project Hospital in your Library in the Steam client, click the options (cog) icon on the right -> Manage -> Browse game files.

Thanks for the reply! I tried the steps below and still couldn’t find anything in relation to the Tweakables file. The only thing I could find was a folder in StreamingAssets called “Addons” and in that folder is an txt file called “content_removed” and it has nothing in it.

I’ve tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, but with no luck.

Hi, ok, I managed to double check it on our testing macbook - steam shows a different folder, but you'll be able to find the files if you find Project Hospital under Applications, right click/context menu -> Show package contents and then follow through the directory names I mentioned in the previous post.
