Tweakables Question/Explanation? Empty Tweakables Question/Explanation?

Hello, this is one for the devs really (hoping they catch it). I enjoy and appreciate the "tweakables" category. However, some of the definitions are pretty vague or nuanced and thus leave me wondering what they do, how they do it, and what they're measured against. Two in particular:

1. leveling rate percent for doctors: I see this is calculated as a percent the player can change. Is this measured out over a day? When I tweak this I really have no idea how it's measured out. What is this really?

2. Same for "skill improvement rate percent." obviously this has to do with skills, but how does changing it influence the game (so I have an idea of how a percentage adjustment works in the game).

I am trying to move closer to a balance (as I define it of course, where interns don't progress too quickly to RNs, and doctors don't progress too quickly through the ranks.

please help, any clarification would be helpful.

Hi, basically both these values are overall modifiers of how quickly employees level up and how quickly their skills improve.

There are points awarded for different activities and procedures (there's a bunch of tweakables for these to be able to balance the system) and when an employee earns some points, the number gets multiplied by one of the two global numbers you mentioned.
Only the skill used in the activity improves while the overall level increases every time any points get awarded. Btw, to see when this happens you can enable "show xp" in options.

thank you! I'm trying to balance the rate at which my employees level up so at to not advance too quickly.

Oh, and what happens when you reach Day 999 in the game? I'm at day 487 but wonder. I hope the game doesn't end. Shocked
