[QUESTION] Patient Waiting for Tests at Inpatient Only Laboratories
Thu Nov 04, 2021 2:30 am
Hello,
I believe this issue has cropped up again.
It was working great until just recently. Have a lab upstairs that patients are going to, but all employees are marked for inpatient only.
They are clinic patients, it has no waiting room on purpose and they leave. There is a working lab downstairs with a connected waiting room for clinic patients. The specific lab that this is occurring on is the hematology lab.

Hi, thanks for the report and the save!
Looking at the patient that we can see right after loading the game, it looks like a specific case of what was discussed in the thread you linked - a patient that was most likely on observation when the sample was taken (so it was delivered to the inpatient lab), but released back to the clinic in the meantime.
In a way the most proper solution would be some system of sample transfers between the labs, but as we're looking at an edge case and the patients don't seem to get stuck in any way (let me try to run the save for a few more ingame days), it's probably safer to keep the rules as they are.
