question on elevator

i saw the recent screenshots - i was wondering how elevator works - maybe video showing how its works

so there will be muilplte entry doors to elevator? eg front and rear doors or only front?
also there abity to create skip floors or restict access to certain floors on elevators?

From the gameplay I've seen it certainly looks like elevators will be very basic in functionality unless the developers have got some plans for them in the works. For now at least it appears they are single entrance only on a 3-4x4 lift object and can access all floors (above the starting tiles, ie if placed on floor 2 they would access 3+ unless you placed one below it to cover the lower levels) with no user interface/option to customise their permitted access to certain floors. The ability to have a non-access lift shaft to skip certain floors might have some perks for some peoples designs but whether that will feature or is currently possible to make happen I do not know.

I am not a beta gameplayer so I'm just going off what I've seen and the posts/updates from the developers who, to my knowledge, have not announced any special plans for elevator adaptations in beta or full release. Then again, with over a month to go until the big day who knows what changes they could slip in!
