[RESOLVED] STAT Lab technologists travelling to use items in another room
Thu Nov 01, 2018 3:13 pm
Emergency department STAT Lab technologists Daniel Clark and John Clark travel to Observation to use a wall-mounted equipment cupboard rather than the tall equipment cupboard in their lab (and Equipment not shown as used in the lab set-up - I only added it because I noticed them travelling to use it.)
It happens regularly in the attached save - watching either technologist will result in a reproduction. Thanks!

They are not using equipment cupboard, they are handling samples. Somebody must deliver samples to laboratory. On clinic it is patient itself, in hospitalization part comes lab technologists for samples.

And this looks like the technologists walking up to an equipment cupboard and opening it? Thanks for clarifying, if so - this isn't made clear anywhere.

Yeah, it's not super obvious, but you can spot some icons over technitian head when he's moving samples/results.

Thanks for pointing this out! Makes perfect sense.
I notice the employee card also shows current activity as 'handling samples' - I should have spotted this earlier.
