Patient cant be fully treated!
Thu Nov 01, 2018 4:51 pm
I've been playing the game for a while now, and I have a general surgery department with multiple surgeons working. The patients need all sorts of surgery, but it says treatment isnt available. Do I need something else?

Ive found this too. I think it tends to be if all your hospitalization beds are full. best way to check is to open general surgery tab then click on a room as if you are going to place furniture and see which beds are shaded green and taken. ive found this the quickest way but im sure there must be other ways. if they are all taken you need bigger wards or patient control bedded patients to treat them quicker and make beds available.

You can also get into the weeds and try and make space by transferring patients around. Maybe one of your post-op HDU beds could move to ICU, letting you move that pre-op intestinal bleed into HDU. Now you have an open bed in the regular surgery ward go take that kidney stone that's been parked in the ED all morning

Someone above mentioned about transferring them to different department wards. How do you do that? Because say I have a patient in the emergency observation ward and want to transfer them to the HDU to free up bed space I am unable to swap until the observational treatment stops flashing orange - this tends to take a day and by then everything starts going wrong. Am I missing something here? How do you transfer them onto different wards quicker?

Click on the department symbol next to the patients photo. You can only place a collapsing/unstable patient into the ICU
