[QUESTION] Can't access ECG for patients in the ICU

Even if an ECG room is available somewhere in the hospital, you can't use it on ICU patients.

ECG is only available to General Surgery patients. You have to stabilise the patient to be able to get them out of ICU and access ECG again. There are some tests available from within ICU that might do some of the work.

Hello, let me explain: ECG as object, that provide ECG examination, is mandatory equipment in Cardiography unit - but, if you will build Cardiography unit on General Surgery department, it will be only for patient that are assigned to General Surgery department. This is by design to ensure some level of consistency in rooms requiered for every department.
Another case will happen, if there is some unique department examination method - for example EEG - it could be built only in Neurology dpt. - here you can send also patients from other departments.
On ICU there is "Heart monitoring" examination, that can uncover some of heart related symptoms.
