Just wanted to say I am already obsessed with this game!!! Very Happy Thank you devs!!!

Any way I wanted to share a few wish list items of my own:
1. Wheelchairs.
2. Skilled nursing department  (essentially a nursing home. For elderly or patients needing therapy or long term care) areas in department could be: dinning area, common room/dayroom (as they are commonly called), shower room, patients wards/room, nurses station, linen closets, therapy, ect. Staff would be: DON, Nurses, certified nurses assistant, therapist, restorative nurse/aid, dietary aids, etc.
3. Visitors  (I see that already mentioned in the thread)
4. Sleeping rooms/waiting rooms for visitors/families of patients who are in like ICU, surgery, ect.
5. cafeteria for staff, visitors, and food delivery for patients.
6. Gift shop (extra cash! Wink )
7. staff training / meeting rooms
8. Traffic/parking (have to manage a big or small enough parking lot)
9.  Catastrophes. Outbreaks. Epidemics.
10. Teaching hospital

The ability to transfer patients between levels of hospitalizations. Multiple times have I seen that someone can not be transferred back from TC to observation, from ICU to HDU or normal ward. If the person is getting better why is there no ability to transfer them to a lower priority unit?
My other problem was, that someone with a critical undiagnosed symptoms in ICU could not be transferred back to TC or elsewhere to look for other diagnostic methods to reveal the symptom. He was just lying there without the ability to diagnose, but I am sure that there would have been numerous diagnostic methods, even in TC or observation where it could have been revealed - but no way to put him there back.

An other issue/important suggestion is to do something with the toilets needs for patients. Bedpan, urine catheter etc. because it is ridiculous that the hospitalized patients have constant unfulfilled need and negative satisfaction because of this.

____________________________________________________________________________

One suggestion of me would be to build central operating theaters, so that not every discipline needs its own operating theater. In reality, there is also the central surgery, where each specialty operates.

A reception / patient admission for all disciplines would not be bad either.

For a large hospital, the personal limit of 200 is somewhat limited, as are 4 floors. There has to be more.

For radiology, it would be damn cool, if not for each room an MTA must be set, but that the MTA also changes the rooms, where it is needed (similar to the doctors in the ready room)

Hey guys, i know i'm probably not the only one and I apologize if it has been suggested before, but is there going to be an update with the "Steam Cloud Data" much line Cities: Skylines so you can play the same save game over different computers?

Also wondering about the following:

1) Deathcare ( Autopsies, Morgue, body transportation to funeral homes, etc) and having this as an option like blood
2) Applying for Government grants
3) Stock rooms ( Not just the housekeeping rooms )
4) Ability to manually order stock or have it automatically
5) Security
6) Ability to rotate 360 around or just pick different pre-set camera angles
7) Payment stations to free up doctors and procedures

That is - sorry - a senseless argument! We immediately pull up a whole building, lay tiles and put in the furniture - all without any workers who would do it in real life. So to use realism as an argument against the point "moving rooms" is nonsense. I have already written this in two other threads and I repeat it every time I read it again.

My suggestions:
- I miss the possibilities with this game as with "The Settlers" (I hope the game is known). I would like to be able to optimize the workflows and the paths. To be able to determine in which waiting room the patients take place for which treatment room (otherwise they sometimes run senselessly through half the hospital). Or that x-ray room 1 is responsible for surgery, x-ray room 2 for orthopaedics.
In short: one should be able to "link" rooms to each other.

This has already been suggested:
- common rooms for the technical assistants, so that one does not have to occupy every room with an assistant. Positive side effect: Assistants can take turns if one is overworked.
- Treatment lists that can be viewed and edited accordingly: I would like to see which patient should be treated where and when and can change it, because I am of the opinion that patient A should be treated more quickly than patient B.

I would also like to see nurses providing more care for inpatient/obs like giving meds, doing some types of assessments (such as BP, temp, physical assessments). It seems like nurses mostly just transport and feed pts, while the docs type in the treatments and they're magically done. Reception could be so much more in depth, more like triage with nurses doing temp/bp/physical assessment that picks up signs/symptoms that are visually apparent, and the doctor can do a second physical assessment that is more in depth to pick up less obvious symptoms.

Wishlist (closed) - Page 2 Empty Manually remove patient from ICU/HDU

Tue Dec 04, 2018 7:40 am
Hi Jan,

Excuse me if this has already featured in other posts. My main wish is the ability to down-hospitalise patients, i.e. enable the player to send someone from ICU to HDU, or HDU to normal ward. As far as I can see, I can only increase the level of hospitalisation of a patient, but never the other way around.

As I read people's issues about ICU (which I also have), it seems it would be possible to address all of that by being able to send the ICU patient to surgery, emergency ward etc. This is currently not possible. I know that they can go for their operation from ICU etc, but please give us the option to take the risk and downgrade their hospitalisation status.

Part of the immense appeal of this game is the possibility to screw up. Please give us the option of taking someone out of ICU or HDU.

P.S. This is probable the single best game design I have ever encountered. Thank you so much. Please do a farming or industry game next, with the same unique thinking as you did with PH.

I already posted some of my suggestions in other "topics" but I'd like to add my wishs to this "official" list Smile

Unlimited controll over patients (concerning diagnosis and therapy)
That would be my most important wish! As someone with medical background (doctor) I can't stand the way that AI is performing diagnosis and therapy (what doesn't mean that AI is bad - I just have high standards Very Happy ). Unfortunately we're at the moment limited to controll not more than 12 patients at the same time - to less even for a medium hospital.

Separating departments for further specializations
Some departments are comprising two or more specializations in one department. For example neurological departments is treating all patients fitting to neurology, neurosurgery and ophtalmology. I'd suggest to split them into the "originally" departments while adding relevant diagnoses for giving more depth. It's best realized as a DLC (as I'm a studied doctor I would offer me to give medical-professional advie if needed).

Shared Laboratories
It's neither realistic nor cheap nor practically to build and maintain separate labs for each department. As many other players I'd also like to suggest to introduce a central laboratory working like the radiology deparment (for all departments).

New departments
New departments would bring more depth and complexity to the game. I could imagine that psychiatry and dermatology departments could be moderately easy to realize. Obestrics and pediatrics are really intresting but hard to program, because it'd be necessary to introduce children into the game. It's best realized as a DLC.

I wonder, is this thread still supported? The last message being from 2018 year and no DEV's answers for a long time before that.

I have few small suggestions that were discussed many times but aren't yet adressed, and these issues bring some bad experience to the game.

First, the reception conception is flawed, since only the Emergency reception does anything at all (open hidden symptoms), and it doesn't function as it should, so I double this - https://projecthospital.forumotion.com/t2083-not-very-helpful-reception

Second, definitely the cardiography and ultrasonography diagnostics (and maybe neurology) must be common as well as radiology and biochemistry labs are. I've tried to make this via mod, adding them to radiology lab, but the problem is that each Department has main profession defined, and I've had ultrasonography added to radiology department, but it showed a mistake as "no profession identified".

There are some other small problems like the absence of mod management inside the game, font and resolution problems and so on, but the above two are the most important for me, while apart from that I find this game great!

Hi, thanks for the suggestions!

First, regarding the wishlist - we try to read all posts, but there are currently more active threads about requested features on Steam, this one was used to gather ideas from the community before the game was released so it's not really reflecting the current state of things and the updates published since release.

Some good news for you in either case - we have some points on our internal list for both receptions at specialized departments and sharing of some of the specialized units, so there should be improvements for both in one of the upcoming updates. Smile
